Brakes consist of many parts; they use friction to make your Nissan stop its wheels. Brake pads clamp down onto the brake rotors which generates heat to stop the rotation of the wheels. Several types of brake rotors are on the market, including drilled and slotted. Drilled rotors have holes in them that let heat, gas and moisture escape.
